Glen C. Young, D.D.S.
Dr. Young is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a second generation orthodontist continuing the legacy of serving our community. Creating beautiful smiles and having the opportunity to positively serve patients is one of his life passions.
In 1984, he attended the University of California School of Dentistry and graduated at the top of his class. After completion of the Orthodontic Specialty Program at UCSF, he practiced together with his father until 1989. It was an extraordinary time of both personal and professional growth.
Advanced dental education and continuing to add to his knowledge of orthodontics is of highest priority for him. Each year he exceeds the continuing education requirements and is recognized by Invisalign as a Premier Provider. He uses self-ligating braces that leads to shortened treatment times and requires fewer patient visits. He strives to stay on the cutting edge of advances in orthodontics.
In addition to his commitment to outstanding patient care, he equally enjoys giving back to the profession and community. He has served on all levels of the San Francisco Dental Society including President and has served on faculty at UCSF. Additionally, he has served as a Delegate to the California Dental Association, as a Board Member of California Society of Dentistry for Children and with the Red Cross.
Personally he is grateful to reside in Piedmont with his wife and two children. They enjoy travel, food and outdoor activities.
